Where do you post to? How long will my order take?
We currently only post within NZ, we send orders out on Mondays and Fridays via NZ Post or Pass the Parcel.
You should receive your order within 5 working days of us sending, if it hasn’t arrived promptly, let us know and we will chase it up for you.
We can’t currently post to Waiheke or Stewart Islands, or to PO Box addresses
What condition are the items in?
Item condition will always be clearly and honestly stated in the description. The items on this site are genuinely vintage (more than 20 years old), so that needs to be taken into consideration when purchasing. We will always do our best to be accurate when describing the condition.
Please read the descriptions carefully, as refunds won’t be given if you haven’t read and understood the description. If you purchase something you believe isn’t ‘as described’, please send us a message and we will see what we can do.
What do you mean by vintage?
Vintage refers to items that are more than 20 years old. Generally, the items on this site will be from 2006 or earlier.
We may at times offer items that are relating to vintage but are not as old as 2006, and we will make that very clear in the product description. We will be launching a new category called ‘Chase’s Corner’, selling childrens items that are not vintage soon.
Do you help people source items, or do you buy estate lots?
Not currently, but that could be something we offer in future!
Are electronic items guaranteed to work?
Sometimes we are unable to test certain media (such as if we don’t have the right console to test it on), any untested media will be clearly marked as untested and sold ‘as is’, which will be reflected in it’s price and very clearly labelled as such. We will not offer refunds/returns on these items.
If we sell an electronic item and have claimed it is tested and working, you are welcome to return and refund it if it is not in working condition. A refund may only be issued after the defective item is received back to us, packaged securely, and we have checked serial numbers and tested for our own invisible markings on the products. Then a refund will be promptly issued.
Where are you based? Can I pick up?
We are based in Christchurch, New Zealand, we do not have a retail premise and don’t currently have a pick up service available. We do try to keep postage costs as low as possible, with a flat rate of $7 nationwide.
How much is postage?
Our postage is a flat-rate of $7, anywhere in NZ (excluding Waiheke and Stewart Islands, where we do not offer post).
No, we don’t charge extra for rural, and we dont charge extra for a massive, heavy box of goodies – enjoy your shopping! 😉
